RBS Ops Tax Refresh and Migration to Camunda goes live

A legacy managed service Operational Tax solution was migrated to a new cloud-based Camunda microservice solution. Featuring a fully automated process that integrates with multiple bank operational data stores and a historical data warehouse, the new Ops Tax solution allows 200 service agents to monitor customer self-certification reporting and management across all the bank brands. The new service was successfully implemented and is delivering significant benefits and a major cost reduction to the bank.

Case Management is the component that holds cases on customers which are created via a rule based system or by a manual trigger from the data warehouse. Case Operators work the cases resolving outstanding indicia and determining customer tax status by asking customers to provide self certification. Based on this the updated tax status, entity status etc is fed back to the data warehouse.
